Senior Infrastructure Engineer – O365, Windows Server, Azure – £48k + Benefits

Senior Infrastructure Engineer opportunity for a growing IT function based in Nottingham city centre. Last year the team transitioned their IT service from being provided by an MPS. Now all the infrastructure is managed internally and this team is adding a new member. The role will be a mix of BAU and project work and 2021 is looking very busy. Some of the projects planned include O365, network re-design, Server migrations to Azure amongst others. As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer you’ll be involved with BAU support but also with leading some of these projects.

As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer you must have a strong track record of working with a range of technologies and platforms. Ideally you’ll have led on technical projects and have expertise in areas such as Windows Server 2016, Virtualisation, Cloud (Azure), O365, San storage or Networking. Knowledge of ITIL would be advantageous (you dont need to hold the qualification) as would having any experience in platform design. There will be a need to travel to one of the other sites so you must be able to drive.

The role is currently fully remote and from April you will work from the office 2 days a week.
