Project Manager – IT Finance Transformation / IT Finance Systems – Near South Leeds / Hybrid – 2 days – to £71,000 + 15% bonus + excellent benefits + career development

Our client, a leading retail business, is embarking on an exciting IT finance transformation programme, and is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager with a background in finance to help drive the assessment, development and optimization of their IT finance systems. This role will also play a key part in managing projects related to mergers and integration, making it a high impact and career defining opportunity.

The role:

• Lead and manage projects across IT finance transformation, with a focus on systems and process improvement
• Assess current IT finance systems and recommend solutions for optimization and efficiency
• Collaborate with both finance and IT teams to deliver system enhancements and support the implementation of new technologies
• Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes
• Support merger and acquisition projects, ensuring finance systems and processes are integrated effectively.

About you:

• Strong background in IT finance, accountancy or similar discipline (ACA/ACCA/CIMA desirable)
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager within finance transformation programmes
• Good technical understanding of finance IT systems (SAP S/4HANA / Oracle Financials / Microsoft Dynamics / Workday / IFS Financials / Sage / Unit4 / Netsuite / ERP / EPM or similar platforms)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across finance, IT and business teams
